Co-Founder, Director, South American Operations, Guide
Santiago is the very, very best at what he does. Trying to describe what that is is very difficult because nobody has ever done it before. Our clients that have had the good fortune to travel with him in Buenos Aires have repeatedly referred to him simply as "The Man". Even in his young age he has forgotten more about Buenos Aires than most people will ever know. He will often times be your man in the field.

Santi brings the experience of a Native PorteƱo and the cultured sensibilities of a World Traveler to every client. While accompanying his father on diplomatic missions for the Argentine government, young Santiago spent seven years studying English and French between the American School of Algiers, Africa and St. Augustine's College in Sydney, Australia.

Since returning to Argentina at age 18, Santiago has traveled extensively in Brazil and is functionally fluent in Portuguese as well as French and Italian. He has taught English to 6th graders and adults as a private instructor, which serves as a huge benefit to all those who travel with him. Waysouth understands the importance of clear communication, and for English-speaking clients needing help articulating themselves in Spanish, he is able to weave effortlessly between the two languages. Not only can he tell you what words mean, but he can explain the origins as well. Since the Crash of the Argentine Economy in 2001, Santi has also been very active in the tourism and real estate business, during which time he made many of the friends and connections that we routinely exploit for the sake of our clients.

In the little spare time he does have, Santiago likes to spend it surfing on a tranquil beach 500km South of the big city.
