James M. Herrington II

Co-Founder
James is a native Texan and the founder of Waysouth.  He has lived and studied extensively in Argentina and Mexico, where he finished his degree in Public Relations from Texas State University. As a traveler and businessman he is very attuned to the needs of his clients that are arriving at an unfamiliar place with new rules and perhaps a different language.

For over 15 years he has been involved in his father's development/investment company, C2CRES, as well as his own real estate brokerage firm in Austin, TX. His success at coordinating multi-million dollar projects as well as his "problem" of not knowing when to quit have prepared him to deal with the challenges at Waysouth.   Although most of his work is done behind the scenes, his responsibility is to ensure that your transition between cultures is smooth and that Waysouth continues to add new and exciting programs to the itinerary.

In addition to his entrepreneurial pursuits, James is a dedicated outdoorsman, musician, photographer and writer.
